Sandy Chafouleas, Ph.D. is Co-Founder and Director of Educational Psychology at FYBS. Dr. Chafouleas is a licensed psychologist with specialty in school psychology. She makes frequent media appearances, and authors a popular Psychology Today blog on promoting student well-being. Her work focuses on working with caregivers across settings to implement practices that support the whole child, with specific expertise in mental health and emotional well-being. Dr. Chafouleas has received multiple awards for her work, including an American Psychological Association Presidential citation for FYBS.

Emily Wicks is the Co-Founder and Director of Puppetry Education for FYBS with over 10 years experience in museum and puppetry education. Her work is largely focused on collaborating with schools and other child-serving organizations to facilitate implementation of the FYBS toolkit and materials. Emily also leads workshops for children, families, and educators on puppet-making and provides instruction on using and integrating puppets in a variety of settings.
