About FYBS

What is FYBS?

Feel Your Best Self (FYBS) is a toolkit for learning 12 simple, emotion-focused coping strategies.
 
These types of strategies are important life skills, and when used regularly, can promote emotional well-being.
 
Using FYBS, kids explore the strategies to find those that help them feel their best as they navigate different situations.

What’s included?

The online toolkit includes lots of freely accessible materials!

Short videos for each of the 12 strategies to help kids shift their thinking, settle their bodies, and more! Tip sheets and strategy cards help support learning using simple prompts and visuals.
 
Facilitator guides offer lesson plans and tips, including how to incorporate puppet making.

Additional products to supplement the use of FYBS are available for purchase.

Who can use FYBS?

FYBS was originally created for use in classrooms, such as during morning meetings.

But anyone can use FYBS! Educators and community providers have adapted tools for use in different ways.

Families also find FYBS to be a fun way to talk about emotions and try out ways to feel your best self.
